Alter Trade has attended various activities organized by The Department of Trade and Industry, the Philippines' primary government agency for coordination, promotion, and facilitation of activities relating to trade, industry and investment.

 

INTERNATIONAL

 

 

Fair Trade Labeling Organization International In 1996, ATC was inscribed at the International Sugar Producers Register (ISR) of Fair Trade Labeling Organization International (FLO).

FLO is the worldwide Fair Trade Standard setting and Certification organization. It permits more than 800,000 producers and their dependents in more than 40 countries to benefit from labeled Fair Trade. FLO guarantees that products sold anywhere in the world with a Fair Trade label marketed by a National Initiative conforms to Fair Trade Standards and contributes to the development of disadvantaged producers.

 

 

 

Institute For Marketecology Since 1995, Alter Trade undergoes an annual inspection of its production system, processing and marketing activities by the Institute for Marketecology (IMO) necessary for the organic certification of its products.

IMO is an international inspection and certification body for organic produce.

 

 

 

Center For The Promotion Of Imports From Developing Countries In 2001, ATC participated in CBI's Export Promotion Program.

The Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) was established in 1971 and is an Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. CBI operates within the policy framework set by the Netherlands Minister for Development Cooperation.

Its mission is to contribute to the economic independence of developing countries by strengthening the competitiveness of companies in those countries on international markets, primarily the West-European market, by improving conditions in enterprises and business support organizations. CBI considers social values and compliance with the most relevant environmental requirements to be an integral part of its policy and activities.
