Trade Japan (ATJ) Formal trading relations between
ATJ and ATC began in 1989.
ATJ engages in a unique "people-to-people" trade
in the developing world handling "eco-food" products. It all started
from a modest beginning of helping the Negros islanders of the
Philippines reeling under a catastrophic sugar market collapse
in the early 1980s.
At present, ATJ imports naturally grown green
bananas called Balangon, organic muscovado sugar, low-chemical
mangoes and frozen pineapples from ATC.
