Sustainable Production and Area Development Enterprise

Program Objectives:

1. To increase productivity levels of Sustainable Agriculture-Organic Farming practicing communities through infrastructure and technology development, capacity building and support system.

 

 2. To facilitate area diversification of agricultural products to ensure food security of farmers and improve the level of their income by producing "cash crops".

 

3. To improve quality standards of agricultural products meeting market expectations.

 

4. To increase producers' income through adding value to their agricultural products.

    

Program Components are:

 

Capability Building: Intensify Sustainable Agriculture awareness and skills, conducting awareness training program on Balangon post-harvest handling.

 

Technology Development: Evaluate, verify and improve Sustainable Agriculture-Organic Farming technologies on sugarcane, banana, and diversification.

 

Infrastructure and other Support Services: Establishing community information system in cluster-organizations' areas, support system such as seed banking, nursery, tissue culture laboratory and stock preparation.

 

Enterprise Development: Preparation of feasibility study in cooperation with HOE and CBSS.
