     lter Trade Manufacturing Corporation (ATMC) was registered with the Securities and Exchanged Commission on November 5, 1992 with 60% of its equity fund coming from ATC. ATMC handles the buying, manufacturing of sugarcane and packing of Mascobado (generic name: muscovado).

     ATMC is engaged in small-scale Mascobado sugar production with a corporate commitment to live up to the spirit of promoting environment, social and economic health.

     The company goals are:

Develop internal capability to meet market demand,

Generate income to sustain and develop its operation,

Achieve a pro-active product, and

Market development

 It was established so that sugarcane production from the areas will have direct processing mechanism through the traditional, pre-Spanish method of milling canes. Alter Trade Mascobado was called "the poor man's sugar" because it is a product of the marginalized sugar workers of Negros.
